Several domestic handicaps have been reduced this week – Vinny 15 to 12; Charlie 19 to 17; John Wright 20 to18; Cliff Jones 8 to 6 and Cliff Bowman 5 to 4.

Congratulations to all the markers.   It was a tricky one to mark and to check but I found no mistakes.

Next week is a 4BBB full handicap Stableford from Blue tees.   Times for the following week are now available online.  That will be a Daytona 4 ball whatever that is.   I must look it up.

Daytona

If you like risky games, you'll love this. Each team of two add their scores together, so if they both had net fours the score is 44. If the scores were different then the scoring depends on how you fared to par. If one of you got a par or better you would take the lower score first. For example a 4 and 6 on a par 5 scores 46. If you are both above par, say on a par three, then you take the higher score first giving 64. The lower total takes the money, but be prepared for some big swings.”

Could be interesting!   The marker will need “O” level maths and a calculator!   I will add a few more rules later.
