Many thanks to all who participated today. The Seniors’ Captain was delighted with the response to his Charity Fundraising day for Breast Cancer and nearly £500 was raised. He will give you the exact sum in the next few days. Prizes were distributed to the first 14 and can be claimed from the Secretary’s Office.

A list of all the scores will be displayed on the Seniors’ Noticeboard in the next day. 2s were achieved by D. Tait, T. Joiner and D. Warnes and all win 3 golf balls to be claimed from me. Nearest the pin on the 7th was Peter Pickstone and on the 9th John Ball. A bottle of wine is for each of them. Derek Warnes won the raffle and the Studio D family photograph. Handicap changes apply to Cliff Jones (8-7), G. Deaville (11-12), B. Dudley (14-15), J. Renshaw (12-13) and K. Smart (15-16). The second round will be played on July 16th, followed by a meal. I hope as many as possible will support the Seniors’ Captain on that day.
