A reduced competition unfortunately. One golf ball each for Barry Drummond and Mick O’Connell, both of whom had a 2 on the 9th. Winning vouchers have been handed in to the Pro Shop.

Next week is the Senior Open on the Wednesday, so there is no competition on the Tuesday. The week after, on the 6th August is a Four Man Team competition with 2 scores counting for holes 1-6, 3 scores for holes 7-12, all 4 scores for holes 13-18. It will be a Stableford from the yellow tees with ¾ handicap.

The Senior Captain’s Trip to Garstang is full, but I have managed to get an extra tee time to accommodate Ken Hulme, Graham Deaville, Brian Dudley and Tony Hanlon. I will collect £5 deposits from everyone by mid-August. If anyone wishes to be a reserve at the moment to step in if someone drops out, let me know as soon as possible.
